About the Author Burt Solomon is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research. He was a consultant for WFAN-NY, the nation's first 24-hour all-sports station. He has been published in The New York Times, and is a member of the adjunct faculty of Fordham University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
